Rail Services: Northallerton Station is about 800 yards south of the High Street. The station is on the East Coast Mainline and has a few direct services to London and Edinburgh as well as 4 daily direct services to London courtesy of open access operator Grand Central Railway. There are Transpennine Express services to Thirsk, Middlesbrough, Darlington, York and beyond with connections to the East Coast mainline and Cross Country services at York and Darlington.
